Eaglehawk Neck Hall

The Hall is a treasured part of the community and has been in continuous use for nearly 90 years. Its construction was funded by Eaglehawk Neck locals and it was officially opened on the 1st December 1928.

It remains a vital hub for the community to this day. Almost destroyed by fire in 2009, the local community rebuilt it and the scorched floor-boards remain as evidence of the fire.

The Hall has a long history and has always been central to local life. It is now regularly used for a wide range of activities by various social and recreational groups. Aside from the beloved monthly market (currently on pause due to COVID-19), dance classes, yoga and a regular bookshop call this space home.

The hall is now fitted out with a modern kitchen, air conditioning, state-of-the-art sound system, theatrical stage, separate meeting room, toilets and other modern facilities. New internal toilets have recently been installed.

The Hall is available for hire – weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, conferences, dances, theatre, concerts, workshops, meetings, pretty much anything!
